Superporouse hydrogel (SPH) is widely used and investigated as a gastro retentive drug delivery system to extend residence time in the stomach
 
 However, their mechanical strength represents problem because they need withstand peristaltic movement of stomach. Properties SPH are affected by materials for synthesis. The aim research study effect changing foaming agent foam stabilizer amount on physical properties, particular strength, release from SPH. Trifluoperazine HCl will be model study.
 formulations was prepared using fixed acrylamide (AM) polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) monomers, polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) cross-linker, TRFP variable sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) agent, tween 20 stabilizer. Ammonium persulphate (APS) / tetramethyl ethylenediamine (TEMED) polymerization initiator. buoyancy, porosity, density, release, content, swelling ratio, investigated.
 Modifying both factors all properties profile. When increased density floating lag with reduction porosity release. While increasing NaHCO3 reduced faster observed. Optimum were observed formula 2 which had 230 µl Tween (v/v) 50 mg 579±0.4, 14 min 80% released within 12 hr.
 As conclusion improved pattern can achieved formulations.
